Early help

Early Help includes childcare and funding, group sessions and programmes for your child’s development as well as local information, and links to support for both parents and professionals


Health visitors

The Health Visiting service is available to all families in North East Lincolnshire who are expecting a baby, have a new born or a child up to the age of 5


Neurodevelopmental service

This is the route for children and young people (up to their 18th year), where support has already been accessed and tried, but further multi-disciplinary discussions may be required. NAViGO’s neurodevelopmental service is the service you will use for a diagnosis of ADHD or Autism.


SEND teams

  • The Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review Team for EHCP’s
  • The Specialist Advisory Service. Specialise in Learning and Cognition, Communication and Interaction and in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • The Educational Team for Hearing and Vision (ETHV). To support children and young people who have been diagnosed with hearing and/or vision loss

Providing free, confidential and impartial advice and support to young people and parents/carers of a child in relation to Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) living within North East Lincolnshire

NELC SEND Local Offer | Transforming Care Programme

The Transforming Care Programme focuses on improving services for children and young people with learning disabilities, autism or both, and who also have challenging behaviour or mental health conditions.
