The annual campaign is themed creativity.

There are loads of fun things for people young and old to get creative and kickstart their imagination.

Download Mencaps Spatter art pack.

Check out the huge range of resources tailored to various learning needs from Twinkl.

Follow the campaign on social media with the hashtag #LDWeek2021.

What about locally?

Tomos is a local teen with autism who loves to write.

He has a great perspective and also wants to lead an autism campaign and be an Ambassador for SEND. See his work on NELC SEND Local Offer | Celebrating SEND- local stories and promotion (nelincs.gov.uk) and stay posted for more videos and writing or him sharing his interest in movies, popular culture, travel and more.

Local young people recently entered the Creative Connections competition to showcase their talent. 22% of entries identified as having SEND.

A book with the writing, drawing and other inspired pieces will be published soon.

There’s a lot of talent in our community of children and young people.
