What are the SEND Awards?

The SEND Award Ceremony is a chance to recognise children and young people’s achievements in sports, arts, and education as well as important things like friendship and community spirit, and of course the best adults who help them.

SEND takes centre stage on Wednesday 5 July 2023 from 5pm-7:30pm in the Assembly Room at the Grimsby Town Hall, Town Hall Square.

The event is by invite only. At the event you will get to share in the winners journeys and hear their stories through the award ceremony which is followed by food and and a dance.

Visit the SEND Awards page. NELC SEND Local Offer | SEND Awards (nelincs.gov.uk).

Nominated by the public, the winners are from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over our borough. Their achievements are awe-inspiring and a lesson to us all. They say they are ordinary people, but their achievements are truly extraordinary.
