UPDATE: SEND Coffee drop-in

Abi’s SEND Parent Carer Coffee drop-in’s will continue during term time for the 2023/24 academic year from October 2.

Parent carers are invited to drop-in to meet with Abi who can signpost you to support, offer a listening ear and impartial advice and support.

Understanding your experience as a parent carer of a child with SEND allows us to improve what we can offer you.

The drop-in’s will start from Monday October 2, 2023. The location of the coffee drop-in’s is the same however the Thursday drop-in is now 12:00-2:00pm.

Abi is a local parent carer of a child with SEND.

Abi said: “I’m thrilled to be able to work with local families of children with SEND.

“I have a background in health as a paediatric nurse.

“Also, as a mother of two, one of whom has SEND, I feel that I’m in a good position to understand the needs of parents.
