Starting school for the first time – September 2024

PARENTS of children born between September 2019 and August 2020 can now apply for school places, to start reception year at primary school in September 2024.

All information on how to apply is available online at www.nelincs.gov.uk/apply-for-it. Guidance has also been issued to all nurseries and early years providers in the area for them to share with parents and carers of eligible children.

The closing date for applications is Monday 15 January 2024.

Parents and carers can apply online for a school place. Application forms, guidance and associated information are available at: www.nelincs.gov.uk/apply-for-a-school-place.

Those who are unable to apply online can request a paper application form from their child’s nursery or from the School Admissions Team.

Paper forms can be returned by post to:

The School Admissions Team, Civic Offices, Knoll Street, Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, DN35 8LN.

Primary school places will be allocated on National Primary Offers Day, Tuesday 16 April 2024, for all applications which are received by the closing date, 15 January 2024.
