British Sign Language Advent calendar!

Catch up with the first 8 days of BSL festive signs and learn a new sign every day.

Local story

Understanding myself programme rolled out to local professionals.

Understanding Myself is a six-week programmed developed specifically for young people between the ages of 14 and 17 who either have a neurodevelopmental diagnosis or are experiencing traits associated with a neurodevelopmental diagnosis.

The programme is being taught to local professionals so they can deliver it independently with those they support.

Preparing for Christmas: Autism resources

The Christmas period can be a very exciting but often stressful time of the year for many autistic people. It can be a time with lots of change, social interaction and expectations.

National Autistic Society has compiled a range of resources with quick tips, sensory saviours, real-life stories, dealing with anxiety around the festive period and more.

Haven Hearts Christmas events for SEND

Haven Hearts has an upcoming Christmas event.

Saturday 16 December, 2-4pm.

They also have a group for parents caring for those with additional needs.
