Rose Ayling-Ellis to sign a CBeebies Bedtime Story for Deaf Awareness Week

Deaf Awareness Week is taking place from 2 to 8 May 2022.

Rose Ayling-Ellis the actress and Strictly champion is the first celebrity to sign a story in British Sign Language on CBeebies in celebration of the campaign.

Rose says: “I am super excited to read my first CBeebies Bedtime Story in British Sign Language and it’s even more wonderful to share a story written by a deaf writer. I hope deaf children enjoy the story and it inspires hearing children to want to learn BSL more!”
