Nominate a star for a SEND Award

Nominations are now open!

North East Lincolnshire Council’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Awards is a fantastic way of celebrating our local areas amazing children and young people with SEND and the unsung heroes who support them and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs and their families.

This is a chance to showcase all of the brilliant achievements by people doing extraordinary things, and to show what can be achieved when we help each other and work together.

Last year we received over 140 nominations.

Who do you know who deserves to shine in 2023?

We would like you to nominate a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities who you think deserves to be recognised. There are also three categories for adults and organisations involved with SEND.

This is a chance for achievements both big and small for any local child or young person with SEND to be celebrated.

If you know a child or young person who has overcome a challenge, participated in something that they enjoy, found their voice or grown in confidence please nominate them for an award.

It is also a chance to recognise and thank the important work of the professionals who work everyday to make sure children and young people with SEND are supported to achieve their full potential.
