New Quiet Space at Grimsby 10k this Sunday

We are so excited that this year the festivities in People’s Park after the #Grimsby10k race will feature a ‘quiet space’.

Join us this Sunday 4 June in People’s Park for the eighth Grimsby 10k. ØRSTED GREAT GRIMSBY 10KM 2023 – Tape2tape

The Grimsby 10k is great local event that brings together local business, organisations, novice, and experienced runners, and members of the community who line the streets and congregate at the finish to cheer them on.

It also features a 1k Family Fun run and lots of exciting activities at the finish line in People’s Park for everyone to enjoy.

If the noise and crowds are overwhelming, or you just need a minute to regroup, find our tent near the NAViGO and Care Plus Group stands.

This was a brilliant suggestion from a local parent carer. It’s a simple idea, but makes the event more enjoyable for children and families.

Find us near the café, away from the main speakers, and the finish line crowds, but still central enough to be a part of the action.

There will be some comfortable seating and a couple of ear defenders to quieten the space.

There’s lots going in the park, and this Sunday is due to be sunny and warm so if you see someone who might need a break, please tell them to look for the quiet space gazebo.

We’ve been lent the gazebo, bean bags, and ear defenders by generous local services willing to share what they have to make this happen.
