Me-Learning Programme

The Me-Learning Programme can help you get into work, education or training.

Find out what your aspirations are and achieve them. It’s easier with the right support.

The next programme runs from Monday 16 May to Monday 27 June.

Tracey and Gill will be at the job centre on the mornings of 4 May and 6 May to meet women interested in taking the programme.

Women will join the programme from 9:30-1:30pm from Monday to Wednesday at the YMCA.

Women begin the programme lacking confidence, anxious, and often not knowing what they want to do or what their next steps are.

We have around 75 percent success rate in getting women to move on to work, education, training or volunteer work.

The last programme alone saw four women get jobs, two go into training, and three go for interviews.

One is now being mentored on setting up her own business and three have tried out a market stall.

This programme will also include a First Aid Qualification Level 3, as well as Survival Skills, Flower Craft, a virtual reality experience and a Red Herring Puzzle Game.

There are five tutors who are well equipped to help women succeed because of their extensive facilitation and training experience. Additionally, one trainer is a Mental Health Nurse. The trainers have a host of other qualifications including adult safeguarding and equality and diversity training.

Participants do not need to bring anything.  We provide all stationary and materials as well as visors, masks and sanitizer etc. wherever it’s needed.
