Join The Big Conversation

You are invited to come along and take part in the Big Conversation.

This event is organised by young people for young people and local descision makers to come together and share their thoughts and ideas for positive change in the community on the issues they voted for in the Your Voice Your Vote consultation.

The event is focused on the top three themes currently. These are:

More things to do and places to go
Reducing knife and violent crime
Feeling safe on our streets

Young people aged 10-18 and local decision makers are invited to attend and add their voice to The Big Conversation.

The event is a drop in format so come and stay for the whole time or pop in for as long as you can spare.

The event is held on Monday 12 August at two locations.

Grimsby

1-3pm at The Haven Youth Hub, Osborne Street, Grimsby.

Immingham

5-7pm at Oasis Academy Immingham

The date Monday 12 August has been selected as this is International Youth Day.

The day is all about celebrating and recognising the potential, and challenges, of young people around the world, with a focus on children’s rights, as this was started through the UN at their first World youth forum in 1991.
