Help us plan for better school transitions

Help to create positive transitions for local children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This short feedback form takes about two minutes to complete.

The Local Authority is working with schools and stakeholders to develop best practice guidance and materials on transitions.

This insight will be invaluable for transitions throughout the pandemic and beyond.

An improved understanding of what makes positive transitions will help professionals, parents and carers and most importantly local children and young people.

A small team will be working on this project through March with the aim of launching a Local Authority wide approach to ensuring the best possible transitions for our children and young people with SEND moving on from one phase of education to another.

The changes we can make depends on what we know.
So it matters a lot that you give us your views. We greatly appreciate what you share and every comment and answer is taken on board.
