Free training for young people. Understanding abusive relationships

REMIDI are providing the CEASE training course for free to young people aged 13-24 years in North East Lincolnshire through schools and colleges and are offering an option for young people unable to access through their school or college to take part in this online via Zoom.

Join on Monday 21 and Monday 28 February online 5.30-7.30pm.

The CEASE Programme enables participants:

  • To better understand and recognise abusive behaviours
  • To better understand the role friends and relatives may play in supporting someone experiencing abuse
  • To be fully aware of actions that may be taken/sources of local support/mechanisms for accessing that support/direct support available to enable young people to access and engage with that support
  • The programme is for everyone within the 13-24 age bracket, not just young people where a potential risk has been identified. It is important that everyone is aware of abusive behaviour as anyone can be a potential victim of domestic abuse

The programme is delivered over two, two hour sessions.

The sessions will highlight a number of behaviours and scenarios that constitute abuse within a teenage relationship and encourage active dialogue within the group using a number of different methods to encourage discussion.

If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please get in touch to set up a group for delivery.
