Cost of training: Free

Available to: SENCOs, Designated Looked After Teachers, EHCP Co-Ordinators, Educational Psychologists, Specialist teachers, Portage.

Supporting materials:

As part of the training session, candidates will be issued with the book.  (Maximum 2 books per school setting, one book per Early Years setting.) 

Dates/venues:

A range of dates, times and venues will be offered across the academic year 2023-24 to enable as many people as possible to attend the training.

Each session will be the same and delivered in a 2hr slot.

There will be a maximum of 20 participants to a session.

Quality assurance:

From January 2024, there will be a quality assurance group meeting each month to review the targets in a range of plans (PEPs, EHCPS, SAPs, EYIF applications etc) to assess the impact of the training and whether targets are being written in a SMARTer way.

Roles:

Lead trainer will lead the delivery of the training and is responsible for making sure that they know how many participants to expect and have the correct number of materials available.

The Supporting trainer, is responsible for ensuring that books are collected from Civic Office and  attendees sign for their copy of the book.
