Disability Services Advocacy Team Awareness Sessions for External Stakeholders

Your organisation could upskill your staff about Disability Services Benefits and Grants.

The Advocacy Team are advocates for Disability Services across the country, including Access to Work, and Personal Independence Payment.

This also includes things like Disability Living Allowance Adult, Disability Living Allowance Child, and Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.

There are a series of awareness sessions for the above areas of Disability Services which can be tailored to suit your organisation’s needs.

Make sure to save the date in your calendar as soon as you book as you will not receive the Teams link until 8 days before the event.

We as a team have had great feedback following these upskilling session and it has led to a better working relationship and broken down a lot of myths around DWP and our Disability Benefits.

We’ve also found that having an understanding of our ‘Additional Support Markers’ on PIP had made a big difference in supporting customers.
