#CycleToSchoolWeek

Cycle to School Week is taking place from 25 to 29 September 2023.

Cycle to School Week is a week-long event where families are encouraged to try cycling and scooting to school. Cycle to School Week Teacher Resources – Sustrans.org.uk

It’s a great way to celebrate the huge benefits an active school run brings including the positive impact it has on children’s health and wellbeing, on local air quality, and on carbon emissions.

We’ve compiled some great resources for children and young people to get cycling as well as inclusive cycling so that everyone can get involved.

Locally

Lincs Inspire offers a range of cycle training for children of all ages. Balance training helps children aged three to five prepare for Bikability. Bikabilty is offered at Levels 1, 2 and 3. There is also a one hour ‘Learn to Ride’ Course. Find out more Cycling Skills – Lincs Inspire.

The Cycle Hub offers a range of services in our area. You can pick up a low-cost refurbished bike, store your bike safely with them, get bike repairs and your kids can learn basic bike maintenance at a Dr Bike session.
